Diagnosis
Vertex smooth, densely setose with short setae; occipital margin with a rounded edge; mesoscutum with raised and rather strong reticulation, densely setose with short setae, notaular depressions smooth; scutellum smooth and shiny, densely setose with short setae, separated from mesoscutum by a distinct groove, groove interrupted medially where scutellum and mesoscutum meet; costal cell ventrally with a complete hair-row; submarginal vein with 3-8 setae; first gastral tergite laterally with a reticulate ovate spot; male antenna with a 2-segmented flagellum; forewing speculum strongly hairy, very small.
